Background & Problem

Craftsmen Utility Trailer is a company specializing in the sales, service, and leasing of Utility trailers. They offer a range of high-quality trailers, including refrigerated, dry van, and flatbed trailers, to meet the diverse needs of its customers. The company provides comprehensive services, including trailer repair, maintenance, and parts supply, ensuring that clients receive reliable and efficient support. Craftsmen serves a broad customer base, including transportation and logistics companies, helping them maintain and optimize their trailer fleets.

Frustrated by the errors and inaccuracy of siloed internal spreadsheets, Craftsmen set out to implement a new CRM system. As part of my responsibilities, I was tasked with meeting weekly with the sales and marketing teams to review data extracted from the ERP through SQL queries. I further cleaned and deduped the data before then preparing for a CRM master import.

Solution & Result

Following a successful CRM implementation, I then led efforts at Craftsmen to utilize the cleaned CRM data to target current and potential clients for equipment and parts sales. Our first email campaign drove a $20K sale just 7 minutes after sending.
